The Ladurée story began in 1862 at 16 Rue Royale, Paris, and today, tourists and locals can still enter the tea-salon and be treated to the beautiful pastries and what they are most famous for - the macarons.
The ornate decorations in the stores are just beautiful and when I stepped inside, it was everything I imagined Paris to be.
The macarons are to die for! but it may take you a while to decide which flavour!Ladurée also created the pastries for Soffia Coppola's Marie Antoinette

You may come out a few pounds heavier, but definitely with a smile that nothing will be able to erase! : )
