Goal Boards.
What are your goals? What are your favourite quotes? Words? Stickers? Drawings? What are your dreams for this year? For the future?
For the past few years, I have sat myself down one day, surrounded by coloured textas, pencils, pretty stickers, inspiring books and sheets of cardboard, and made a goal board. I have written down my goals for the year, my favourite, inspiring quotes, drawn little pictures and designs, and prettified what I want to achieve onto a piece of coloured card.
I have found making a goal board a really nice thing to do. I don't look at it everyday, but if I want a bit of cheer or if I'm feeling lost, or if I'm in the mood for accomplishing something new, I look to my goal board and it puts a smile on my dial.
At the moment, where I live, it is windy, cold and very wet. On the other side of the world the sun is shining and flowers are blooming. So, wherever you are, I think you'll have a lot of fun, and feel quite fabulous, if you get out your sparkly pens and create a goal board. Sit outside in a field of grass, listening to the birds as you write and draw. Curl up next to the fire with a rug, and read a favourite book for some quotes.

The Magic of Coco
Coco Avant Chanel. With a group of girlfriends, headed off too the cinema to watch this new release. It was very beautiful, and whilst some parts I found to be a little drawn out, it really did re-inspire my love affair with Chanel : )

Patch It Up
My maman is one of the many patchwork fanatics out there, and it seems like the many trips over the city to an array of patchwork stores, has opened my eyes to just how beautiful this art is.
I am embarrassed to say that my prowess, if you will, in stitching is almost non-existent, despite both my mum and my grandmama constantly creating cute creations (wow, some alliteration!) So, when year twelve is over I have added something more to my goal board: take up a dressmakers course and visit my grandmama more often to get to know the tricks of the trade!
But for now, I shall just be charmed by what I see, rather than what I do. Hope you enjoys these pictures as much as me!

Love Heart Smoothies
I thought I might add this quote, I saw it twice in the one day, and really, really like it...

Ladurée
I stepped into the doors of Ladurée twice when I went to Paris, and it really is such a magical place.
The Ladurée story began in 1862 at 16 Rue Royale, Paris, and today, tourists and locals can still enter the tea-salon and be treated to the beautiful pastries and what they are most famous for - the macarons.
The ornate decorations in the stores are just beautiful and when I stepped inside, it was everything I imagined Paris to be.
The macarons are to die for! but it may take you a while to decide which flavour!
Ladurée also created the pastries for Soffia Coppola's Marie Antoinette

So, if ever in Paris, be sure to enter the doors of any of of Ladurée's tea salons (although, I must say, being in the original in Rue Royale is something special). You may come out a few pounds heavier, but definitely with a smile that nothing will be able to erase! : )

Chocolat
I am a chocoholic.
J'adore le chocolat!
Occasionally, I will bake these molten chocolate puddings, as they are so incredibly easy, and take no time at all! And they taste divine! I must say, if you plan on making these tempting treats, be sure to use good quality chocolate.
One of my (many) dreams has been to one day own a chocolate shop; a magical chocolate shop, where people enter and all there stresses disappear, where both the young and old can come in and sit, relax, and be treated to whatever tickles their tastebuds. The first time I watched the movie Chocolat, it was though I was seeing my dream made into a movie.
